Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is integral to evaluating and managing a wide and growing range of cardiopulmonary symptoms and conditions. In this hands-on course, you’ll gain familiarity with skills including calibration, test setup and performance, quality control (QC) measures, test interpretation, and reporting.

  • Elements of exercise physiology essential for understanding CPET
  • Appropriate patient selection and indications for testing
  • Laboratory QC measures, including calibration, troubleshooting, and technical aspects of CPET equipment
  • Test performance, exercise protocol design, and ergometer selection
  • Data organization and interpretation, plus report generation
