Bradford Bemiss, MD, MSCR 

Bradford Bemiss, MD, MSCR, is an associate professor in pulmonary and critical care medicine with clinical experience and research focused on interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis. He is the Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Program and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Care Center Network site at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He earned his MD from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine before completing an internal medicine residence at the same location. He trained in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Washington University in St. Louis and returned to Loyola University of Chicago out of fellowship. His research focuses on large databases of patients with interstitial lung disease and systemic sclerosis from around the Chicago region within the Northwestern Medicine network. His research interests include using this clinical data to investigate novel hypothesis that impact patient outcomes. He is the primary investigator on multiple industry sponsored clinical trials and routinely collaborates with other interstitial lung disease specialists around the country in both research and guidelines development regarding the care for patients with interstitial lung disease.
