Discover new insights for performing bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and pleural procedures that you can quickly implement at your patients’ bedsides. This beginner-level course will help you build expertise on how to manage critically ill patients with these procedures. Using low- and high-fidelity simulators and cadaveric models, you’ll develop your proficiency with bronchoscopy-guided percutaneous tracheostomy, chest tube placement, and more.
  • How to perform percutaneous tracheostomy
  • Use of endobronchial blockers for massive hemoptysis
  • Approaches to bronchoscopic intubation for difficult airways
  • Setup and techniques for performing NIPPV-assisted bronchoscopy
  • Use of the modified Seldinger technique for placing chest tubes
  • Methods for foreign body removal using flexible bronchoscopic techniques like forceps, basket, and cryoprobe
Pre-work and materials will be available here approximately three weeks before the live course.
