Kelly Pennington, MD Kelly Pennington is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed her medical schooling at West Virginia University School of Medicine and postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education with additional training in lung transplant at the University of Toronto. Her clinical focus is lung transplant and critical care medicine, and her research focus is prevention of infectious complications in lung transplant recipients.
