This program will offer hands-on simulation and lectures on bronchoscopy and organ donor lung transplantation evaluation. Learners will participate in both educational platforms to advance their knowledge in bronchoscopy of the lung donor. This interactive session provides hands-on, real-life experience to learn how to do a bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), flexible bronchoscopy, basic bronchial anatomy, and lung transplantation for end stage lung disease.
  • Perform a bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL).
  • How to conduct a flexible bronchoscopy.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic bronchial anatomy.
