Pulmonary embolism (PE) care has dramatically evolved over the last few years, with increasingly sophisticated diagnostic strategies, novel focus on initial risk stratification, and advancement in various forms of reperfusion strategies. There has been an increased emphasis on multidisciplinary approach targeted toward improving patient-centered outcomes. Through this webinar series, the audience will learn the full spectrum of PE care, including outpatient care, risk stratification, intensive care, and complex scenarios that are encountered in day-to-day practice in an evidence-based manner. The goal of the educational program is to enable learners to become fully confident with all aspects of PE decision-making and clinical care. We are looking forward to having you all join us in this educational journey.

Familiarize clinicians with the latest guidelines for managing patients with VTE in different clinical settings.
Describe the optimal screening tools to use in assessing VTE risk based upon presenting clinical status.
Review the current controversies related to VTE prophylactic extension and risk/benefits to inform shared decision-making.
Review current evidence and recent clinical trial data highlighting current efficacy of different prophylactic treatment modalities.
Identify the different treatment strategies that have shown efficacy in clinical management of sub-massive and massive syndromes in PE.
Identify different diagnostic methods, and determine best option for case presentation.
Define strategies for engaging patients as members of the treatment team to enhance their involvement in role in successful outcomes.
