Course Description
The Pulmonary Hypertension Spotlight content addresses a number of timely topics, including choice of therapy for patients with PAH, disparities in PAH, diagnosis and management of CTEPH, management of PH in ILD patients, and management of PH in patients with left heart disease.
Course Objectives
Develop a strategy to transition between PAH therapies.
Recognize the steps needed to overcome health care disparities in patients with PAH.
Describe indication for medical management and CTEPH patients.
Discuss the most beneficial treatment options available for patients with PH-ILD.
Explain the significance of pulmonary hypertension in acute settings like ARDS, PE, and elaborate the treatment.
Discuss whether scoring systems are necessary to risk stratify patients with PAH.
Describe management of pulmonary hypertension in pregnancy.
Discuss the currently available management options and recognition of limitations of patient's with PH due to left heart disease.
