The American College of Chest Physicians and Thomas Jefferson University have developed a unique online educational program titled, Shared Decision-Making in Lung Cancer Screening. The program includes three modules:

  • Module 1: Assessment of Eligibility for Lung Cancer Screening
  • Module 2: Education about Lung Cancer Screening
  • Module 3: Support for Decision-Making about Lung Cancer Screening

After completing all three modules, each learner should be able to identify persons who are eligible for lung cancer screening, educate screening-eligible persons about the risks and benefits of screening, help screening-eligible persons make a well-informed, shared decision about screening, and provide access to tobacco treatment services for persons who smoke or who have stopped smoking.

1.25 CME Credit will be offered for the completion of this course.

This program is supported in part by an independent medical education grant from DELFI Diagnostics, Inc.
As of November 2023, MOC points will be claimed separately from CME credit and submitted instantaneously. Learners will be required to enter their date of birth and American Board of Internal Medicine ID numbers when claiming MOC points.
