The Spotlight on Lung Cancer enduring education series, based on sessions from CHEST 2024, is an on-demand, accredited activity for pulmonologists, thoracic oncologists, and other clinicians treating lung cancer. It includes four modules focused on key clinical topics: managing slow-growing subsolid lung nodules, using immunotherapy and molecular genotyping in treatment, incorporating biomarkers into risk assessment, and diagnosing and staging multifocal lung cancer. Each session includes practical case discussions, expert guidance, and assessments to support clinical application.
  • Discuss the (limited) role of PET scan and advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy/TTNA in the evaluation of subsolid lung nodules.
  • Understand the toxicities of immunotherapy and molecular-based medications and how to manage them.
  • Examine the IASLC classification and definition of the various subtypes of multifocal lung cancer, emphasizing its unique behavior and contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the disease.
