Bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) is now part of the GOLD Guidelines for COPD management. Learn how to successfully perform BLVR in the first course of its kind to utilize cadaveric models. By taking this course, you’ll enhance your ability to manage patients from the perioperative period through to the first several months post-valve placement. You’ll also be able to apply this knowledge to the bronchoscopic management of persistent air leaks and recognize the different approach to target segment/lobe identification.
  • BLVR candidate assessment and target lobe identification
  • Approach to managing BLVR complications
  • How to deploy valves for patients with persistent air leak
  • Device-specific interpretation of chest CT scans
  • When to refer patients to other advanced COPD therapy
Pre-work and materials will be available here approximately three weeks before the live course.
