Endobronchial ultrasound and transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is the recommended first step for lung cancer staging. In this course, you’ll refine your skills in critical flexible bronchoscopy with a focus on EBUS-TBNA. Bronchoscopy experts will teach you essential skills for evaluating patients with suspected lung cancer. This course is recommended for pulmonary and critical care fellows and practicing pulmonologists who are growing their lung cancer practice and are looking to gain foundational skills in EBUS.
  • Execution of flexible bronchoscopy with brushings and endobronchial biopsy
  • EBUS-TBNA procedures for lung cancer staging
  • Placement of endobronchial blockers for airway bleeding
  • Flexible bronchoscopic techniques for removing aspirated foreign objects
  • How to handle and process EBUS-TBNA specimens
  • Use of radial probe EBUS for localizing peripheral pulmonary nodules
Pre-work and materials will be available here approximately three weeks before the live course.
