This video e-learning module explores the role of imaging in evaluating pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). Clinicians will gain a practical overview of how to use chest imaging to identify signs of PH-ILD.

This module highlights strengths and limitations of chest radiography and CT scans, explains how PH and ILD can obscure one another on imaging, and emphasizes the importance of integrating radiologic findings with clinical context. Through a patient case, the module demonstrates how to recognize suggestive imaging features on chest CT scan—such as pulmonary artery enlargement, right ventricular strain, and septal flattening—and when to escalate evaluation to confirm diagnosis.

Designed for timely clinical application, this video educates on how to recognize PH-ILD early, follow the appropriate workup, and refer patients with suspected PH-ILD.

  1. Identify radiologic signs of PH-ILD.
  2. Interpret chest radiograph and CT scan findings.
  3. Use imaging to guide clinical decision-making.
